Island of Gozo

The sister Island of Gozo is a typical Mediterranean island, which is full of legends.

Known as the island of milk and honey, Gozo is just a short 20 minute ferry crossing away, however, it is a world apart! Inhabiting only 26,000 people, Gozo is much greener and more fertile, everything is done in slow motion and where prevailing atmosphere is that of a constant lullaby.

With the public buses on the Sister Island being few and far between, our excursion is the best way of seeing this unique island. Our guides will give you a thorough insight into the history culture and everyday life of Gozo and its inhabitants. Whilst touring the major places of interest from the capital of Victoria with its narrow and winding streets designed to protect from pirates to magnificent Dwejra, Gozo's west coast with its famous 'Azure Window' and 'Inland Sea'.

This excursion also includes a visit to Ta'Pinu Shrine. Nevertheless a day out in Gozo is not complete without seeing Xlendi a typical village with unusual but picturesque rock formation. En route you will be given the opportunity to shop for exquisite, genuine hand made lace and knitwear items of which the Gozitans are known to be specialists for.
